Our Aspiration

Purnima Netralaya envisage to develop as an Institution providing eye care to those millions of unfortunate who are deprived of their natural sight. The hospital plans to increase its strength to 100 beds with provision for future expansions. By the end of 2016 the hospital aims to become one of the best Tertiary Eye Care centre in Eastern India.

Highlight Over The Years

  • The Hospital also conducts free eye camps in rural areas and the patients selected for surgery are operated free.
  • Ambulance service was started free of cost in the year 2005 and now has a bus to provide free shuttle services.
  • As a step forward to expand facilities, Purnima Netralaya inaugurated the City Clinic on 16th February 2010.
  • Expansion of building to accommodate the growing number of patients.
  • Medical Retina was introduced under the guidance of Dr. Subhrangshu Sengupta, Medical Retina Specialist from B B Eye Foundation, Kolkata.

  13. Approximately five thousand patients suffering from cataract, given free surgery including fooding and lodging.
  14. About Ten thousand paid surgeries done
